VMware Training Formats

VMware Training FormatsAt VMsources, we want to make our VMware training services as rewarding and available as possible. As such, we have designed our VMware training programs in such a way that they can be offered in a variety of class instruction formats. All of our instruction formats are created to minimize setup requirements and maximize student experience.

VMsources takes pride in our real-world instruction materials. All classes are designed with production standards in mind. VMsources is currently the only training provider equipped to bring real VMware HCL servers to your location!

Instructor-led Classes

Our most popular class format puts one of our expert instructors in front of students in a traditional classroom environment. Instructor-led courses promote discussion, allow for interpersonal communication, and reduce the possibility of outside distraction. Instructor-led classes are suitable for most environments, requiring only a moderate Internet connection and Windows workstations in the classroom.

VMware Training Formats

Instructor-led classes, equipment on site

This class format brings our specially packaged server rack and managed Layer 2 switches right into the classroom! Instructor-led, equipment on site classes offer an in-depth opportunity to explore server architecture as it relates to VMware, physical networking, and VLAN management. Equipment on site classes are suitable for all environments, particularly those where there might be Internet connectivity or firewall issues. Equipment on site classes run as well in an isolated “air-gap” environment as they do when connected to an external network and so are perfect for delivery inside secure areas. Equipment on site classes require no technical setup whatsoever, just that the student have a Windows laptop or workstation.

VMware Training Formats Remote instructionRemote Instruction

Our Remote Instruction courses for individuals or small groups. Covering all of the same materials as our Instructor-led classes, but from the convenience of your home or office! Remote Instruction connects you to a workstation in our server lab, and from there you will be able to participate in all class labs. Because our teaching method encourages working with the instructor on labs, remote instruction works best if the student has dual-monitors or 2 workstations so they can interact with the instructor while working on the lab.

VMware Training at Night!

No matter how important, it can be difficult for working admins to schedule a week away from the office for training. And sometimes trying to attend a remote class from the office can be just as difficult; it seems like there are little fires that need to be put out every 5 minutes! That's why VMsources created our VMware Training at Night offerings, with specially tailored classes from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M (Eastern and Pacific time) over seven nights. The first week, attend Monday through Thursday evenings. The second week, Monday through Wednesday evening and you will have completed the entire course!

As a special bonus, VMware Training at Night participants will have 24/7 access to the classroom lab featuring 100% VMware Hardware Compatibility Listed servers.
