At VMsources we created our own VMware Training program based on years of experience in production and in the classroom. Our classes and materials are second to none because they are constantly being updated and improved to ensure the best and most relevant student experience possible.
Our 4-day vSphere™ Infrastructure Deployment – VMware View ™ Virtual Desktop Deployment class offers participants the opportunity to explore in depth the advantages of VMware View. Each participant will work hands-on with real servers to build and administrate a complete VMware View environment.
Each student will install and configure an ESXi se rver “the right way” and then build a complete VMware vSphere environment. Once each student has had the opportunity to configure his/her own environment, we will build VMware View and begin the process of deploying all different types of Virtual Desktop; Individual Desktop, Automated Desktop Pool and Linked Clone. We will also explore the more advanced VMware View Concepts as we practice Desktop Refresh and Desktop Recomposition along with testing out both Persistent and Non-Persistent operating modes.
This special "No Command Line" class will focus on providing Administrators with all the information they need to know for successful vSphere administration. In our VMware ® vSphere ™ Infrastructure Deployment – Datacenter Essentials, each student will install and configure their own ESXi server “the right way” and then build a complete VMware vSphere environment.
We will focus on vSphere administration using the available GUI tools; the vSphere Client and vCenter Server. Administrators will learn what they need to know without loading up on deprecated or highly-specific command-line tools useful only in specialized situations. This class is ideal for Administrators who work primarily in Windows and have an immediate need for useful knowledge and ability with VMware vSphere. This class is fully compatible with both vSphere 4 and vSphere 5!
This special intense short-course in VMware View Virtual Desktop technology offers participants an in-depth experience with the next big trend in virtualization. Students will gain hands-on experience with all the major components of View and learn how to set-up individual Virtual Desktops, Linked Clones, and Automated Desktop Pools!
Our 1-Day course in VMware View 4.6 is designed to complement our VMware vSphere Datacenter Essentials class and recommended for all participants who already have VMware vSphere experience and would like to gain a comprehensive understanding of virtual desktop technology. This course will begin with ESX Servers and vCenter already configured.
Students will complete the class with an understanding of Virtual Desktop technology and a level of knowledge and comfort with VMware View 4 which they have never had before. All students will have hands-on experience with real servers which will translate directly to their professional environment.
In this intensive vSphere™ Enhancement class, participants install and configure VMware Site Recovery Manager on top of a pre-existing VMware vSphere Datacenter environment. Participants will learn to configure storage replication to conform to the requirements of SRM, and then install SRM. Participants will learn how to create Protection Groups, Recovery plans and to actually test and validate a fully-functional disaster recovery scenario without disturbing production VM’s!
GOALS
COURSE OBJECTIVES
In this intensive 1-day vSphere™ Enhancement class, participants will learn upgrade from VMware vSphere 4.X to vSphere 5 including transitioning from "traditional" ESX to the currently-supported ESXi 5 hypervisor.
VMware® vSphere ™ 5 embodies several important changes from previous versions which makes the upgrade process different and, in some ways, more complicated than any recent major or minor version upgrade process. Our vSphere Enhancement – Upgrade Procedures class is the perfect VMware Training class for administrators who will be transitioning to vSphere 5 in the near future. This class covers upgrades procedures from earlier vSphere versions (4.X)
Some of the major challenges facing VMware administrators in upgrading to vSphere 5 arise from the need to transition to the new architecture of ESXi, without the "Service Console."
Our VMware vSphere Administration, Security and Enhancement class offers an in-depth exploration of advanced vSphere operations and administration. Ideally suited for experienced VMware admins, this class emphasizes "best practice" techniques for maintaining a production VMware vSphere environment.
Students will complete the class with an enhanced knowledge of VMware vSphere administration, security and performance monitoring. All students will have hands-on experience with real servers which will translate directly to their professional environment.
This fully-interactive, hands-on class places students directly in to a real VMware vSphere 5 datacenter, using real servers and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Cloud Computing resources.
Upon completion, students will have the skills required to use, manage and deploy Virtual Machines in a VMware vSphere 5 datacenter environment with VMware ESXi™ 5 and VMware vCenter™ Server 5In this special "transitional" presentation of our Boot Camp, we will introduce participants to VMware® vSphere™ 5. Every participant will gain a solid understanding of Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud Computing along with a clear, real-world roadmap for planning and upgrading to vSphere 5 including:
This special "No Command Line" class will focus on providing Administrators with all the information they need to know for successful vSphere administration. In our VMware ® vSphere ™ 5 - Datacenter Operations, each student will install and configure their own ESXi 5 server “the right way” and then build a complete VMware vSphere environment.
Every participant will gain a solid understanding of Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud Computing along with a clear, real-world roadmap for planning and upgrading to vSphere 5 including:
This 5-day Boot Camp style class offers an integrated training and certification path which is ideally suited for both intermediate and advanced VMware administrators. This course covers all the bases plus advanced management and emphasizes real-world “best practice” techniques and integrations for maintaining a production VMware vSphere environment.
